Quebec is a wonderful province to cycle. Check out “ La route Vert” network of cycle routes and paths. https://www.routeverte.com/en/ I think there are 5000km of Vert routes including to the eastern coast. Also do not miss Quebec City. A few days in the old city are well worth it.

Great build up to a cliff hanger ending.

Loving your accounts of your encounters and observations. I’ll be missing you when you get home to Ireland.

Amazing video! Also loved the passage about "naked apes" at Niagara. It captured the awe that place inspires.

I’m loving your posts. I go home from Kansas next week. I’ll be seeing you somewhere around Elm Park in the fullness of time. Happy cycling ❤️

Sorry you didn’t make your way up to eastern Ontario as we would have hosted you both if you came to Ottawa. Yes, I 100% agree about the roads in Ontario. When we moved here from Alberta we were def not used to the soft gravel shoulders and being forced to ride so close to the cars. The “aggressive” drivers are another story and I have reported them to the RCMP as I have experienced a few issues over my many years cycling here. Needless to say hope you can experience more of the amazing things that Canada has to offer on a further trip. It’s truly a beautiful and amazing country full of wonderful people and some incredible cycling. Cheers!

We’re not done yet, as we’ll be making our way through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to Newfoundland to finish our journey in St John’s. We’re really looking forward to more Canada!
